Iowa’s Conservation Team at RAGBRAI

With our conservation partners, the Iowa SWCS hand out bananas and educates riders on conservation in Iowa during RAGBRAI.  RAGBRAI is an annual seven-day bicycle ride across Iowa.  RAGBRAI is the oldest, largest and longest bicycle touring even in the world and draws over 8500 people from around the world.

Volunteers needed for the Iowa Conservation Team at RAGBRAI 2017

Volunteers are needed to continue the Iowa Conservation Team tradition and assist with set up, tear down, handing out bananas, getting postcards filled out and educating riders on Iowa’s natural resources each day during the event! This year’s event runs July 23-29. The route goes through northern Iowa.

A map of the route and Iowa Conservation Team Tent sites where volunteers are needed can be downloaded here.
